President Obama and Her Majesty

[ Listening to: God Save The Queen. ]

Usually I would never post anything that has to do with the presidency or of the sort, but the Queen is another case. I mean, I don't want to say I know more about any other country or their history better than my own, both US history and Hispanic history, but there's a sense of common sense that Obama was in the wrong and he should have known it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that, in this country, I don't feel that much "known respect" that we obviously should be able to guess or feel, but in the video and every day life over there, when the song "God save the Queen" comes on, we should easily be able to tell that we need to be quiet whenever that comes on. Maybe I don't know much about the Queen or anything; however, it seems that he should have realized that the Queen didn't respond to him during the toast or that everyone else moved from original stance to a reverend stance.

  1. I saw this video the other day. I find all the traditions so interesting. I'd be nervous as hell if I were Obama, there's so many rules you have to follow when you're there doing that.
